When I was in the Philippines I saw how karaoke is a national pastime that many of the citizens enjoy. There are office buildings that contain a karaoke machine in many rooms that the people could rent for an hour. Their choice of karaoke songs are mostly golden oldies, disco, 1980′s, and light 1990′s playlists. It’s funny as heck to watch everyone take his or her turn to sing.

I don't know many who use popularity as a polemic to defend the faith. At one point there were not many at all. We cling to Christ and the truth of scripture, which is correct in season and out of season.
