K-Rod Arrested for Hitting Father-in-Law

Francisco Rodriguez, aka K-ROD, was arrested in Flushing Meadows after beating up his father-in-law after another New York Mets loss. The Mets closer was already in a bad mood because he wasn’t called in the 8th inning with the bases loaded and two outs. He cursed at reporters. Then things really got out of control after the game, in which K-Rod and his father-in-law got into an argument, which resulted in K-Rod attacking the old man in front of women and children at the so-called Mets Family Lounge.

Rodriguez’s father-in-law was taken to Flushing Hospital in Queens, and suffered head and facial injuries. K-Rod was arrested by police. K-Rod actually yelled at a reporter who witness the entire crime.

K-Rod- the outgoing and confrontational pitcher- already has had numerous violent outbursts in the past- all with the Mets. Granted, he was no angel with the Angels (pun) but never to the point of frustration as he is with the Mets.

Like Johan Santana and other free agents that come to the Mets for the big money, K-Rod’s reputation has been tarnished as soon as he put on the orange and blue baseball cap.

The team is cursed, as is its fanbase.

Hey there. I live in New York City, and I have to admit, there are various cool places. Even at night, the city is lighted. But then again, there is a difference between New York and New York City–when you talk about New York, you're talking about the state, a rather wide expanse of land, so there's bound to be many places to visit. Same goes for New York City, but more so for New York, because New York City is located in New York (State).

Hope that helped clarify things a bit. ^.^

I met Mr Pape several times, he was a good friend of my father in law ( another old robbery dick). I had about 10 yrs on the job and I just sat and listened to him talk about the good old days…he was a very sharp man. I also bought the book. Rip Mr Pape

Hi Neate: BT also had this two say about the 2010 Queens football team: “They have a bunch of young kids playing this year, who are real good athletes, and they'll be back up there in the next couple of years.”

I couldn't include everything that both coaches said, and elaborating on Queens would not have been sticking with the topic of the article.
