Angels rally and beat Yankees ALCS Game 5

A.J. Burnett and Joe Girardi apologists can defend them all day but the bottom line is that A.J. Burnett’s pitching line was: 6 innings and 6 runs (ERA of 9.00). A.J. sucked. Girardi should not have left him in. Girardi mismanaged the pitching staff again. Joba sucks. Why wasn’t Phil Coke used? Why is the staff being managed to differently in the postseason? Phil Hughes unfortunately had no control or command and he let Vlad Guerrero hit a fastball instead of pitching around him like he was instructed to.

Sorry for the lack of insight, but I’m busy here at work and don’t have much to say besides Girardi cost the team 2 losses in Anaheim because of how he utilized the pitching staff, and some guys are not executing well in the clutch.

Any Yankees fan or member of the MEDIA who looked ahead and said “Yankees-Phillies World Series” should have known better than to underestimate the power of the Angels in Anaheim.
