Yankees SWEEP Twins

Hey remember a few months ago people were complaining how bad the Yankees bullpen was? Yeah, me neither.

Thanks to Phil Hughes, the bullpen has been spectacular. Because Alfredo Aceves was on a strict 65-pitch count [WHY?] he only lasted 3.1 innings and gave up 4 runs (3 earned) so the bullpen had to do a double-duty. Although Dave Robertson was once again shaky, everyone else did fine, culminating with the great Mariano Rivera in the 9th to nail down a 6-4 victory vs the Minnesota Twins.
The Yanks beat the former future Johan Sanatana- Francsiso Liriano. Although Cody Random made an error, he did get 2 RBI, and Brett Gardner continued his hot hitting. There’s no question that he has better stats than Melky Cabrera right now.
Hey remember when I said the Yanks would not ever be hotter after they won 9 in a row? I was wrong. This 13/15 wins run is better thanks to Mariano Rivera, Phil Hughes, Alfredo Aceves, and Brett Gardner.
Watch out, Red Sox.
