Joe Torre Dodgers

July 10, 2009
By DailySkew

When Joe Torre left the Yankees, and eventually signed with the Dodgers, the word on the street was that Torre was past his prime, and was he was just a NY icon due to the players he managed as opposed to his own managerial skills.

Boy did Joe prove those people wrong.

Not only are the Dodgers running away with the National League West, but this will mark yet another year Joe will be in October. He started in 1996 and hasn’t looked back yet. Last year, his Dodgers battled through injuries and made a clutch run and almost walked away with a World Series.

Keep up the good work, Mr. T. Hopefully you will be waiting for the Yankees in October, and give us what we want to see.

I love Joe Torre for many reasons but i don't want the Dodger's to win the world series in October.
That's a job for the New York Yankees to perform for us, not Joe's team. I wish you were still with us Joe. You are mentioned in a good light by John Sterling and quoted by Susan Waldman on the radio all of the time!!
