Beckett + Red Sox destroy AJ Burnett and Yanks

I had such a stressful and worried day with the vet, and had been up since 4:30AM, and was hoping for some escapism, but I knew things would be bad when the weather was so dark and gloomy in Boston. Plus this was a *much* hyped game- this was supposed to be the New Yankees vs the Red Sox. The YES announcers were Michael Kay, Ken Singleton, and John Flaherty, so I knew I was in for a long night. Started to have a headache before they even said how “Big Papi was done” and old…so I knew.

What can I say? AJ sucked…no control over his pitches. But the Yanks would have lost if just one run was scored since the hitters didn’t do anything all night. 7-0.

Yankees fan talk trash about Wang or about Joba’s one bad inning, but what the heck was that last night? That’s two games AJ got blown out of in Boston.
