New Book on A-Rod (steroids, gambling, cheating, helping other teams)

SI’s Selena Roberts (the reporter who created the last A-Rod fiasco) is releasing her A-Rod book. Snippets that were released by her fellow MEDIA members were picked up by the newswires, so this is a global news story.

Bad timing for her publisher, however. Yankees fans are focused on the season and need A-Rod’s bat; they are more inclined to dismiss the book, especially since A-Rod was already tried and convicted by the MEDIA.

This is old news.

I wasn’t even going to touch this, but I already received a phone call this morning from Byrdman, and he was gloating, so I figured I would post my take: boycott this book.

A-Rod’s reputation has already been shot. We already know he’s a barbarian, and is loose with the morals. We know his version of events wasn’t true. Baseball fans have to accept him, and move on. Sideshow attractions during the season (gossip, affairs, etc.) never sit well with real baseball fans, who are ONLY concerned with team standings.

A-Rod will hopefully speak with his bat when he returns.

It has to do with their chemical structure. Both have a central core of 4 rings of carbon atoms.

We have lots of different steroids: cholesterol is one, your sex hormones are steroids, and your adrenal gland produces several different steroid molecules.

    This is the steroid core:

Adding different chemical groups to it makes different stuff. Here is cholesterol, for example. See the four rings?

You with your team with mouse and keyboard, against one of these teams with a controller. They would wreck you.

These guys are definitely on anabolic steroids. No doubt. It's not shocking. For the last few years, an enormous amount of NBA players have been using anabolic steroids. Besides strength gain, the main reason why most of them do it is because they play so many games per year in the NBA and the schedule is so brutal. They absolutley take them so their bodies can recover quicker. And, of course, that is the main reason why anabolic steroids are used. It's mainly to cut down on recovery time.

This is typical police arrogance. The cop in this video is so fucking retarded, he thinks it’s ok to arrest a firefighter helping injured people. What a douche bag!!

We true Yankee fans are sick and tired of A roid news! Let it go!
“He who has no sin, cast the first
    stone”..
I am not sticking up for A roid but
Cody sucked and so did that other
3rd baseman we had recently. So whether you like it or not (and i do not like it) we will see A roid
back in the Yankee line up soon..Get used to it..

I mean, I hate everything about arod and im actually quite embarrassed he is a part of the team ive been rooting for since i was a young boy. I dont care how good people think he is and how he can carry the Yankees. He is a distraction to this team winning another championship. He’s terrible in the postseason anyway.

    A-Rod is a cancer.

I would rather see the Yankees finish in fourth place 30 games out without him than see them win with him on the team.

Seriously. This guy is a fraud. Why some of you people dont care just baffles me.

    I agree with Skew

I have never seen a player so attacked by the media than A-Rod. Even when Bonds was an active player, he wasn’t dragged through this until the end. A-Rod is still in his prime.

Now they are using him to line their pockets: Verducci with the Torre book and now Selena Roberts with this book.

I’m sick of reading all his off field stuff. If I want to hear about gossip, I’ll watch the E network with Ryan Seacrest

There are very few hack writers in the media that are going to give A-Rod a break. I’m only concerned about how he performs between the white lines.

I don’t care who he’s dating and all the other crap.

The media hounded him to get those stories.

Anybody who thinks the Yankees are better off without this guy in the lineup is either a real A-Rod hater, or ignorant about run production.
