• Joba Chamberlain- he struggled with control a bit by throwing too many balls and getting too deep into counts, but his results were excellent; he pitched his best game of 2009, and now has an ERA of 3.13, thank you very much.
• Nick Swisher, St. Nick = 2 HR. Plus great fielding.
• Hideki Matsui- 3RBI
• Johnny Damon
• Phil Coke, scoreless mopup

Guys who didn’t do their jobs:

• John Albaledejo: he turned mopout duty (Yanks coasting to an 8-1 blowout) to calling Mariano Rivera. Speaking of which…
• Mariano Rivera did not have time to warm up and surrendered a 3-run HR
