Manny Ramirez signs with Dodgers $45 million

Call him crazy, but he won. Manny Ramirez (and Scott Boras) held out, threatened retirement, pretended to go to Hollywood, and it worked. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Manny agreed to a 2-year contract worth $45 million dollars. Boras fleeced the Dodgers on this one, folks. They got desperate, and as Spring Training started, Manny seemed okay with sitting it out. The Dodgers gave in. Granted, Manny is a Hall of Famer, and was so hot after being traded from the Red Sox to the Dodgers but this salary is obscene especially so late in the off-season.
