Pedro Martinez‘s price tag appears to be too high for the Marlins, Mets, and other teams. Pedro is asking for $7 million dollars for one year, apparently because Randy Johnson got $8 million from the Giants. However, with John Smoltz getting $5.5 million guaranteed, $7 mil. seems a bit too high for Pedro. Of course, all of this is rumor and speculation because Pedro hasn’t said what his price tag is to the MEDIA.
