Mark Teixeira Gossip and Rumors
A tall birdie told me that new Yankees 1B Mark Teixeira was known as a “head case” while with the Texas Rangers. Since the tall birdie is generally SKEWED, I found it DailySkew worthy to post these unsubstantiated rumors.
Basically, the tall birdie says that Mark Teixeira is a clubhouse Jesus Freak, but is ironically controlled by his agent Scott Boras (the Devil). Mark just cares about the money, my informant says. Therefore it should be interesting to see how he plays with a 8-year deal (plus he’s already a millionare).
DAMIAN SAYS: I don’t know how Mark will react with so many superstars on the Yankees, but I think he’ll be more relaxed even though many members of the MEDIA are attacking his big contract and fans see that he took Jason Giambi’s place (Jason is speaking with Oakland and Tampa Bay). Mark should be good for 30+ HR every year of his contract when healthy. When not healthy, he may be on the DL for 2 years.
Anyway, the tall birdie also gave me a scoop that I can’t publish, but it has to do with the retirement of big name. Anyone who knows the true identity of the tall birdie knows who he is talking about.
