Cliff Lee wins 2008 AL Cy Young Award

Cleveland Indians ace Cliff Lee, 30, won the 2008 AL Cy Young Award. Lee was 22-3, 2.54 over 223.1 innings. He had 170K and only 34 walks. The Indians were 81-81 yet Lee was 22-3! Like the Tampa Bay Rays, I kept waiting for Lee to falter and revert back to a pumpkin, but he never did.
Lee, a lefty, beat out Toronto ace Roy Halladay and Angels closer K-Rod (who broke the single-season save record). The online geeks say that Halladay had better advanced statistics, but I have no problems with this selection.
Cliff was demoted the the minors in 2007, and dealt with injures his entire career. His son battled leukemia.

If Cliff Lee won the cy young award, then there is good reasons!
He did not win it for his good looks or because his child is ill! He won it because of his statistics and that’s that! It is a
very honorable award. Geeks on line are just that, GEEKS! but not the x-file geeks/nerds but jealous
ass holes!!
There are winners and there are
loosers in every league!
