Damian’s comment: BRING BACK JESSE, BOBBY, GORILLA, LORD ALFRED HAYES, BRUNO, and VINNIE MAC.

1 — MATT HARDY (face champ) vs. MARK HENRY (w/Tony Atlas) (heel) – ECW Title match
WINNER: Hardy in 9:00 to retain the ECW Title.

Damian’s Comment: Was surprisingly fast-paced. Good opener. Match Rating: B-

Jamie’s Comment: Tony Atlas was in Maks corner! I thought Matt showed a lot of strength against Henry and Matt won!

2 — “GLAMAZON” BETH PHOENIX (w/Santino Marella) (heel) vs. CANDICE MICHELLE (face) — Women’s Title match
WINNER: Phoenix in 4:00 to retain the Women’s Title.

Damian’s Comment: Went to the bathroom. Match Rating: D+

Jamie’s Comment: ugh!

3 — KANE (heel) vs. REY MYSTERIO (face)
WINNER: Rey Mysterio via DQ in 11:00.

Damian’s Comment: Good underdog match. I like Rey. Cheap ending to keep the feud alive. Rating: B-

Jamie’s Comment: Rey was so great, he is the strongest “little” wrestler i know! Kane sucks but they both had

their moments, but Rey ruled. Kane had to win because Rey is never ever going to take off his mask! duh! but when he was lying on the ground, you saw his face really well, except the eyes were covered!

Angle segment Rating: F+

Damian’s comment: MVP, Orton, Rhodes, DiBiase, CM Punk, Kingston: Fans shouted BORRRING when they saw Rhodes/DiBiase.Went waaaaaaaay too long.

Jamie’s Comment: Orton came out and that whole episode really sucked. How about the fans saying: BO-RING? How embarrassing.

4 — JBL (heel) vs. BATISTA (face)
WINNER: Batista in 6:00.

Damian’s Comment: Sucked so baddd. Post-match Cryme Tyme: time filler, although funny Sgt. Slaughter cameo.
Rating: D-

Jamie’s Comment: I did not rate this high at all . *. I did not care for it. Slaughter, that was funny!

5 — UNDERTAKER (face) vs. THE BIG SHOW (heel)
WINNER: Big Show in 10:00 via referee stoppage due to a TKO.

Damian’s comment: Hard hitting battle, surprise end to keep the feud going. Undertaker is VERY popular still, an icon. Big Show’s body is getting bigger and bigger like Andre.

Rating: B

Jamie’s comment: Big Show surprised me. The Taker was excellent. He looked good and had strength, too. The end sucked though.

6 — TRIPLE H (face champ) vs. JEFF HARDY (face) — World Hvt. Title match
WINNER: Triple H in 17:00 to retain the World Hvt. Title.

Damian’s Comment: Great match, I don’t like when HHH wins, though. Hardy did all his finishers, and still lost…

Rating: A-

Jamie’s Comment: You have to admit that Triple H made Hardy look extra good, and that was a great match!

H.H.H.: Gee, I wonder why he won that match? Oh yeah, he is married to Vince’s daughter! Triple H is stuck in that relationship or he might as well kill himself! But he gets to win!

7 — CHRIS JERICHO (heel champ) vs. SHAWN MICHAELS (face) — World Hvt. Title ladder match
WINNER: Jericho wins and retains title in 22:00 (interference at finish of match)

Damian’s comment: Very happy for Jericho. Shawn really really got old- kind of weird to see him acting like a boy toy when he’s over 40, but he still did all of his great moves and bumps. They did some innovative ladder moves. Very nicely done. Jericho did great at the end, reminded me of Flair retaining his title.

Rating: A

Jamie’s Comment: Y2J vs. The Boy Toy: I was surprised that Jericho did as well as he did. Good blood scenes, and you have to remember that Shawn is a little older than y2j..but he really held his own. I enjoyed it.
