In 2009, AMC will present The Prisoner six-episode miniseries, which is a reinterpretation (not continuation) of the original British TV show 1960’s by Patrick McGoohan.

The Prisoner original miniseries is a co-production of AMC and ITV Productions. Bill Gallagher is writer and executive producer. It is produced by Trevor Hopkins. Bill and Trevor are NOT veterans in the business, but let’s hope they interpret this series well.
