Pirates-Yankees rained out due to GREED

The Yanks were up 3-0, as the top of the lineup was getting doubles and triples. It was rained out, but John Sterling and Susan Waldman was upset that every other American League road team played during the day. The Yanks have a double header against the Mets tonight, and could have been on a plane home already.

The “scheduling committee”, Bud Selig, and the Steinbrenner family (did they okay this?) needs to STOP this madness (Yankees playing at night = more advertising dollars for local teams, like Pittsburgh).

I’ll let Mike Mussina say it:

“I’m just pleased that we didn’t play at one o’clock today,” Mussina said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “We had a beautiful day and we could have played all day long. It’s frustrating. Now we have to come back, lose another off day and play another game. It’s frustrating when we lose off days, because we don’t have that many as it is.”

“We always get the night game because television wants the best ratings and they can charge the most for advertising,” Mussina said. “We would have had a full house whether we played at 1 or 7, so that’s not a factor. There isn’t anything you can do about it. It’s just part of playing for the Yankees, so you just have to deal with it.”

Greed. Some say it's a good thing, others say it's a deadly sin. The fact of the matter is that at any point in a person's life avarice can be pointed out. In my opinion it's not necessarily a good thing, but you may not agree with me, but as long as you are responsible with your greed, and keep it from going out of control, it can be a good thing. Using their greed empires have been taken over, kings have died, and people have lost millions of dollars at the slots in Vegas.
