Mets under Jerry Manuel: Same old Mets

June 25, 2008
By DailySkew

Don’t worry Yankees fans…the Yanks may have problems beating the Reds and Pirates, but at lease you’re not a fan of the METS.

Under new manager Jerry Manuel, the Mets are 3-4. They lost 11-0 at Shea Stadium last night to the SEATTLE MARINERS. Jerry and Carlos Beltran fought the umpire over BALLS and STRIKES, and got ejected. The game was UNWATCHABLE last night. Could you imagine if you bought tickets for that game in Queens?

After the game, Jerry called out 3rd base coach HOWARD JOHNSON and told the man to “come up with a plan”. (Jerry didn’t approve of HoJo keeping his job.) Jerry also said that there’s a gonna be some changes ’round here.

Oliver Perez gives up six runs (five earned) and two homers.

One Response to Mets under Jerry Manuel: Same old Mets

the third base coach Howard Johnson ho joe to the people who
remember that brilliant met, how can he possibly come up with a “plan”? the mets are the nastiest
ball club right now! are they going to listen to ho joe? they can’t
even read a score card yet alone win ball games and not scream at
the umpires! not a very smart move
    by the mets.
