Thoughts and Prayers for Joba Chamberlain’s Dad

My family and friends offer sympathy and support for Joba Chamberlain’s family during this difficult moment.

Joba’s mutual love for his father is well-known, and it is heart breaking for him to see his dad in critical condition.

Last year, Joba said:

“It’s been rough, but it gave me the strength to be the person I am today. He’s been given limitations, but we all have limitations in life. Not once in my life did he ever ask why. He’s taken it and run with it.”

When it comes down to it, they are very close. Loving is caring deeply and vice versa.
However, for example, in a platonic friendship between two opposite sex friends, one friend can "care deeply" for the other friend, without a romantic love towards their friend.
That's the only way I can describe it in a brief way. hope that helps.

mom should more correctly be paired with pop with their origins in the words mater and pater.

the origin of dad is usually agreed to be from 'baby talk' or 'da-da' following, of course, 'ma-ma'.

first i’d want joba to know that he is not alone. i watched my dad die slowly and become the shell of
the man i once knew. joba, the pain
and the memories will always be there, but you must focus on the look of your dad’s face when he saw
    you pitch! PRICELESS!
he is very proud of you, i saw it in face. so be strong for him and
for your future. with the way the
    yankee fans love you(including me)
you will never be without a friend or a family.
