Kyle Farnsworth Blames Joe Torre

The Yankees most hated relief pitcher Kyle Farnsworth has finally come out and blamed former manager Joe Torre for his struggles. Farnsworth said Torre has poor communication skills, and never game him the confidence to success. Specifically, he said that the “Kyle can’t pitch back-to-back days” was a myth. Kyle resented being the mop-up man. He truly is a disgruntled employee. He likes new manager Joe Girardi now, but we’ll see how long that lasts. I hope he gets traded in June if he continues to be ineffective out of the bullpen again.

Not on the show Christ, I went to his book signing in Glasgow. Yes, I actually chose to go to a Jeremy Kyle book signing…

If the state’s community college system is strong (and the courses are reasonably rigorous) AND the student has ability and is motivated, this can be an excellent way of saving money. Truly, one doesn’t care where one STARTS his or her academic careet; rather, where one FINISHES is more important. However, a weak community college system serves no one, especially an untalented and uninterested student. As a college professor, I’ve taught my share of transfers from community colleges and while the range of students is fairly broad, it’s definitely skewed to the side of not-ready-for-prime-time-university. Too often, these students are woefully unprepared, lacking the ability to do even basic algebra (a must for science courses!) Coupled with poor communication skills (written and oral), these students set themselves up for dismal academic performances, even failure.

I wonder if he blames Bobby Cox for his failures in Atlanta … Torre is such an easy target … how lame can you get.

Farnsworth — stop pointing fingers at other people and blame yourself, buddy. Worry about getting the hitters out, and you’ll get to pitch when it counts.

Truthfully, guys like Kyle don’t get it. Every out is important — whether it’s in a “Mop up” role or setting up for Rivera.

If you think about it, there’s no such thing as pitching “Mop up” for the Yanks, because of the nature of their explosive offense.

If I were Cashman, I’d cut the guy now. His attitude sucks. His view of reality is completely SKEWED tm.
