Andy Pettitte supports Clemens’ accuser?

Andy Pettitte has saved himself a public testimony by collaborating Roger Clemens‘ accuser behind closed doors last week.

Rep. Tom Davis said that in an affidavit given to the House Oversight Committee, Andy’s account matches Brian McNamee’s in most details, so Andy will not have to publicly testify and face Roger, since there are no discrepancies in Andy’s account.

McNamee has told investigators that in 2002, he, The Rocket and Andy were working out together at the gym in Clemens’ Houston home. During a break in the workout, Pettitte went over to McNamee when Roger wasn’t there and asked, “How come you don’t give me the stuff you give Roger?” McNamee replied, “Because it’s illegal.”

Roger Clemens said that Andy is mistaken, and that Roger wasn’t talking about steroids or HGH during their discussions; he was always talking about B-12.

“…his memory is different and memories can fade over time.”

As I predicted, Andy was screwed no matter what he did.

You see kids, Andy is an Enneagram personality type six … due to his personality, he has NO SHOT of successfully pleading his case before the court of public opinion.

Personally, I’m proud of Andy for the telling the truth. I’m sure he didn’t attack Clemens … I’m sure he just told it like it was — nothing more, nothing less. The MEDIA, politicians, and fans will spin this Rorschach that is Andy’s testimony into whatever image they desire.

andy pettitte is my hero! his way of playing the game of baseball is
an inspiration to me and my family!
i will never believe andy spoke about roger in any derogatory manner behind closed doors! they are best buddies, they did everything together! their work outs were amazing! roger took andy
under his wing and tried to teach him different pitching stances and
pitches! not how to take steroids!
i don’t believe it! say it ain’t so

Looks like Pettitte weaseled his way out of this one. Dirty rat.
