Yanks get Morgan Ensberg

In an odd turn of events, the Yankees acquired another 1st baseman: Morgan Ensberg. He is a Spring Training invitee, meaning he has no guaranteed contact unless he makes the team. He’s around 32 years old, and has some decent years- he can walk and has some homerun power.

He played most of his career with the Astros, and is great against lefties. He would be a decent bench or platoon hitter if he makes the team. He has been battling injuries, and his high homerun seasons look awfully suspicious under the current HGH/steroids earth we live in.

It is unknown if he will make the team, considering the Yanks have a bunch of 1st baseman, like Giambi, Shelley, and Betemit.

    1. This is a masterstroke. Everyone has been caught off guard. The Lefties are totally flummoxed. They expected to dominate the news with Bailey and the Caller story, now its SARAH IS COMING.

You got some nerve bein racist like that man! You prolly i kobe or lebron dick rider! And go look at his career stats, and than get back to me, he was a team player lead the league in steals too! and it dont matter how many rings he has, he played on shitty squads! he would win too if he had stars oon his team but no, he took the 76ers to the finals on his back! if you havent noticed this year for the NBA is BS and all about money. He just wanted to play but its all bout money

I have to assume Cashman didn’t like Andy Philipps. Ensberg hit over 30 homeruns in a fluke year, and has a better bat overall, I guess.
