The DailySkew sat down while on the phone speaking with the greatest pitching coach of all time yesterday.
Here is the exclusive transcript:
DailySkew: “Hi, Leo. First of all, it’s an honor to be speaking with you over the phone. My first question is, as someone who was universally regarded as the best pitching coach in baseball while with the Atlanta Braves, how does it feel to be sitting at home without work for next year?”

LM: “I’m a pitching coach. I’ll always be a pitching coach and I’m very interested in returning to that.”

DailySkew: “To me, it’s amazing that there were pitching coach vacanacies this offseason (New York, Pittsburgh, Seattle, etc.) yet your phone didn’t ring after you were fired by the Baltimore Orioles in the middle of last year.”
LM: “I’m hoping something happens at some point. If it does it does. But I know it will down the road.”
DailySkew: “It’s also interesting that the Orioles organization and MEDIA don’t give you any credit for the success of Erik Bedard, Adam Loewen and Jeremy Guthrie.”
LM: “I don’t really want to get into that.”
DailySkew: “No problem. Are you still getting paid $500,000 this year for sitting at home in Atlanta?”
LM: “Yep.”
DailySkew: “I guess the Orioles don’t mind paying a man of your talents to not work for them?”
LM: “I’m not gonna comment on that.”
DailySkew: “Have you spoken with your close friend and former Braves manager Bobby Cox?”
LM: “Yeah, Bobby and I keep in touch.”
DailySkew: “Will you be making a Braves comeback?”
LM: “Last I checked, every pitching coach position was filled in the majors.”
DailySkew: “Well, Leo, thanks for your time. I hope you can apply your genius to a major league team soon.”
LM: “Okay, bye.”

Yes I have a leo friend she too is like that. You just have to be firm and stand your ground and have to come out and be blunt and say sometime its not all about her. Like discuss it if one of you want to do this thing and you want to do the other. explain your side . be ready for her side it will still be better than yours lol. but she will give in if you explain to her again and again. Or throw up her hands and say what ever lol
