David Wells vs Roger Clemens

David Wells said that he thinks it’s wrong that the Yankees are giving Clemens special treatment, including not making the right-hander travel with the team if he is not scheduled to pitch.

“I don’t think I would ever do it because of the fact I personally think it would disrespect the team and your teammates,” the San Diego Padres left-hander told the newspaper. “You look at the other players. How are they going to respect you? What are they going to think if you’re not there pulling for the team?”

“That’s not the Yankee way,” Wells said, shaking his head. “The Yankees have changed.”

Clemens’ reponse:

“I didn’t know the details of my contract sitting down yesterday. That’s how quick the decision was made to do this. Regarding a former teammate being a critic- and I’m not even going to mention any names- he should look hard in the mirror before saying anything about this.”

The Daily Skew picks ROGER CLEMENS over David Wells in a no-disqualification, no-countout Texas Death Match.

The best left hander? What? This guy was nowhere to be found at Nemiroff in 2009 or 2008! Dennis Cyplenkov is the best left hander in history! Dennis would destroy the Bagent jackass.
